Last August, Auto123.com had been informed that Andretti Green Racing was in the process of evaluating a buy-out of A1 Grand Prix's Team USA.
Today, Andretti Green Racing have confirmed that they are taking over control of Team USA for the upcoming A1GP season.
"We are very proud to be representing the United States on the level and competitive playing field that is provided by A1GP," said team co-owner, Michael Andretti.
Team USA is expected to announce their driver line-up for the season at the Zandvoort round that will be held this weekend. Reports indicate that IndyCar regulars Marco Andretti and Danica Patrick could split time behind the wheel of the A1 car this season.
