A1GP World Cup of Motorsport has confirmed a change to its sporting regulations to give all its teams the same chance in the championship as they gear up for the Season Four opening round, A1GP Zandvoort, The Netherlands this weekend.

As confirmed on Friday, all teams competing at the Dutch track will score championship points for the 2008/09 A1GP World Cup of Motorsport. However, a change to the sporting regulations means the teams will now just count their best nine event scores.

The final points' standings will now be calculated by them dropping their worst result, which will be the points from the Sprint and Feature races of one event.

The team test scheduled for Snetterton this week will now take place on 2 and 3 October, instead of 1 and 2 October as previously stated. This will allow the maximum time for teams to prepare before practice, qualifying and the races later this week.
