Alfa Romeo will come to market with a new sedan and SUV by early 2016 and 2017, respectively, according to Reid Bigland, brand manager in North America. They will join the Alfa Romeo 4C, which is scheduled to go on sale in the U.S. this summer.
Bigland said the midsize sedan will be revealed in Milan, Italy, on June 24th. It doesn't have a name yet, but some have referred to it as the Giulia.
What about powertrains? Again, Bigland didn't reveal anything, although he promised that the performance of the Alfa Romeo sedan would exceed segment rivals such as the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4.
As for the future Alfa Romeo SUV, there are no details available at this point. Bigland merely mentioned that it would go up against the BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Porsche Macan.
