ALL NEW 2003 HONDA ACCORD DEBUTS

The 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine will feature Honda's new 'intelligent' i-VTEC technology to deliver 160 horsepower through either a 5-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. The 3.0-litre VTEC V6 will see a substantial 20 percent increase in output (from 200 to 240 horsepower) combined with a new 5-speed automatic transmission.

The interior of the 2003 Accords feature a blend of driver-focused features and information-oriented technologies, beginning with a new seat design to provide maximum comfort and support. Other interior features include:

• increased front interior room and rear knee room
• upgraded audio systems
• LED instrumentation on all models
• available dual-zone climate controls
• sliding centre armrest
• a new multi-functional key which eliminates the need for a remote key fob.

Although much has changed on the Accord, one thing remains the same - it still has the same legendary dependability, quality and reliability traits that have made it one of the best-selling passenger cars in North America year after year.

The 2003 Honda Accord sedan will be available with DX, LX-G, EX-L, LX V6 and EX V6 trim levels. The new Accord Coupe will be available in LX-G, EX-L and EX V6 trim levels. Pricing for the Accord models will be announced at start of sales.
