ALMS: Muscle Milk Pickett Racing trio announced

Muscle Milk Pickett Racing announced which drivers, which car and which tires it’ll be using in their third season running in the ALMS.

The successful pairing of Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr will be back for another season together in 2012, but they are leaving behind their Aston Martin, in order to run Honda Performance Development’s (HPD) ARX-03a.

"I am very much looking forward to having both Klaus (Graf) and Lucas (Luhr) back together again," commented Greg Pickett, team owner, in his press release. "I can't wait to see what they will achieve aboard our new Muscle Milk HPD ARX-03a this upcoming season."

Long-time partner Michelin, will once more supply the tires as the team to competes for overall glory in the LMP1 category.

"We're very proud to announce this deal with HPD as we feel confident that their car and engine package along with our tire partner Michelin offer us the best combination to achieve our ultimate goal of 2012, which is to win the LMP1 championship," continued Pickett.

The news came through with the announcement of cross-discipline partnership. CytoSport and Muscle Milk – Pickett's health and nutrition companies will back Honda's motocross effort. Their official bike team will now be known as Team Honda Muscle Milk.

"These multi-faceted agreements allow us to envision some exciting and unique cross promotional opportunities between Team Honda Muscle Milk motocross team and our ALMS program that will allow us to continue promoting and building our Muscle Milk brand," explained Pickett.
