Davi Millsaps (Honda) grabbed the holeshot in the 20-lap main event, with Kevin Windham (Honda) and Villopoto just behind him. Millsaps and Windham battled for the lead over the first couple of laps before Windham made a clean pass on lap two. Villopoto and Ryan Dungey also passed Milllsaps in the first third of the race.

As the race hit the halfway mark, Villopoto battled with Windham, making the ultimate pass for the lead on lap 11 while Dungey, still following close behind, took second the next lap. Villopoto, Dungey and Windham ran out the race in that order.

The premier AMA Supercross class started the evening with a tie atop the standings between Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) and Josh Hill (Yamaha). Villopoto’s second straight win and third victory in the last four races moves him into a tie at the top of the standings with Dungey.

The AMA Supercross series now heads to Atlanta on February 27.
