Luxury Car: 2021 Lexus ES
The ES is a repeat winner, having taken this award last year. As before, it delivers elegant styling, a high-end interior environment and refined if not gritty on-road performance, says KBB. The jury members also liked the standard all-wheel drive and overall value offered by the ES in 2021.
What KBB liked:
- The sedan’s timeless design, even with that big grinning grille
- Roomy cabin
- Many hand-crafted elements in an obviously upscale interior
- Physical controls for the important stuff
- Standard heated/ventilated front seats with 10-way power adjustment
- Large trunk
- Comfort-focused, but not soul-sapping, drive
