Best Midsize Luxury SUV: 2022 Genesis GV80
Genesis makes it two in the luxury SUV category, as the new GV70’s slightly older and larger sibling comes out on top in the intermediate category. You could argue that the 70 is so darn good and stylish that it throws a bit of shade on the more sedate 80, and you’d be right, but that the latter still takes the crown (and for a second year in a row) is a testament to the quality of the models being put out by the Hyundai Group’s luxury brand.

- Priced much lower than rival luxury models that are no better than it
- All-wheel drive
- Advanced tech, wisely deployed
- Build quality
- New design has made the GV80 better-looking
- Optional third-row of seats
