Genesis
The third member of Korean auto group Hyundai's impressive trio of all-electric crossovers is about to launch, this one as a 2023 model. The Genesis GV60 joins the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6, and in fact the models are, structurally and performance-wise, virtually identical. The differences are in the design, styling and luxury levels found inside.
And so luxury brand Genesis makes it own grab at a piece of the pie with the GV60, more luxurious – and more expensive – than the other two. There are a number of whiz-bang functions and features that set out to convince buyers the extra cost is worth it. Things like the ability to get in the car by showing your face, and to start it by using your fingerprint.
