Ford
For Ford – the company that, you may recall, basically eliminated cars from its North American lineup back in 2019, 2021 was the year of the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Not a bad way to enter the EV waters.
Now, there’s another potential juggernaut that will stamp 2022 for the auto giant: the F-150 Lightning. The all-electric pickup looks set to make its substantial appeal to both individual consumers and to commercial enterprises. How, by offering goodies like the ability to recharge tools on construction sites via the Pro Power Onboard system. Heck, it can even charge appliances in your house if you’re in need of it.
The addition of the E-Transit van is also great news for contractors who don't want to go to gas stations to refuel.
