Volvo
While the future will bring more size and luxury to Volvo’s EV range, for now it’s two pocket-sized crossovers carrying the torch: the XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge twins. The former is a more traditional five-door subcompact crossover, the latter a slightly trendier four-door coupe.
Both models get either single- or dual-motor set-ups and both are good for over 400 hp when properly equipped. Both also look nicely contemporary with cool wheel choices and two-tone colour treatments.
In the coming weeks or months we'll see the EX30 and EX90 join the fray as well, and their arrival will instantly propelr Volvo to the lead group of carmakers in the electric sphere.
