Honda's most popular model in North America has finally been redesigned for 2023. The first new CR-Vs are now arriving at dealers across Canada.

Under the hood, it's business as usual, except that in the more upscale trim the turbocharged 4-cylinder powertrain has been swapped out for a hybrid configuration. In this new configuration, the old turbo 4-cylinder gives way to a 2.0L Atkinson-cycle engine mated to a pair of electric motors, giving the SUV 241 hp and 247 lb-ft of peak torque.
