The C-HR nameplate makes a nervy, verve-y return to Canada, this time as a totally redesigned battery-electric vehicle. The 2026 C-HR EV is a sporty, coupe-like compact SUV that prioritizes style and handling. It features a strikingly modern interior with a 14-inch touchscreen and customizable ambient lighting.

Powered by a 77-kWh battery, the C-HR targets a range of 496 km for the SE front-wheel-drive model. For those needing more power, the XSE grade offers dual-motor AWD and 338 combined system horsepower, capable of 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. With a starting MSRP of $44,900, the C-HR is eligible for the full federal iZEV incentive.

The new C-HR is on sale now and is scheduled to arrive at Toyota dealers across Canada in early summer 2026.
