Subaru Uncharted
Subaru’s second venture into the all-electric market is the Uncharted, a subcompact SUV that sits below the Solterra. Manufactured in partnership with Toyota in Japan, and thus the very close cousin of the reborn new C-HR, the Uncharted is Subaru’s answer to those who want a nimble, (sort of) trail-ready EV that fits into smaller parking spots.
The Uncharted features a 57.7-kWh battery. The FWD LR model offers the longest estimated range at up to 480 km; for the all-wheel-drive Sport and GT trims, it sits at around 460 km.
The model comes standard with Subaru’s suite of EyeSight driver-assist technologies and a smart-key system.
With a starting MSRP of $42,995, the Uncharted is priced aggressively to compete with the Kia EV3 and Chevy Bolt.
