10 Most Affordable Cars in Canada in 2023: Bargain Hunters Unite Yes, bargains do still exist (although we'll have to adjust our definition of ‘bargain’ a bit)

1st place: 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage ES    $14,298 + $1,575 fee

The disappearance of the Chevrolet Spark automatically propels the other microcar still available to the top of the ranking of most-affordable new vehicles in Canada.

The Mitsubishi Mirage did previously hold the title of lowest priced new car in Canada, a title it lost to a certain Nissan Micra and then the Spark a year or two ago.

Now the model makes its return to the top spot. It's worth mentioning, though, that the small urban car's base price has risen nearly 50 percent since its introduction in 2013 as a 2014 model.
