3 — Toyota Yaris

The Yaris, one of my 2020 most noteworthy test drives? Really? Absolutely. The truth is, I confess I have a soft spot for subcompacts, which I find simply fun to drive. And in the case of this Yaris, I knew that my test drive represented my farewell to the model, since Toyota had just announced that the little guy wasn't coming back for 2021.

Well, if we’re being honest, the model I tested was actually a Mazda2 of course - but still, the demise of the Yaris marks the end of an era, and that's why it was a defining moment for me in 2020.
