5) Honda HR-V
Considered by many to be the smart choice in the category, the Honda HR-V reigns … in the middle of the pack, without making much noise. In fact, the Honda representative harbours a slightly older engine (that of the previous Honda Civic), but that unit is very well adapted to the small vehicle. And then there’s its cavernous trunk, possibly its single biggest selling point.
With 12,985 sales in Canada and 99,104 sales in the U.S., the HR-V continues to sit near the front in the category, without fanfare.
