It's a little surprising to see a vehicle as polarizing as the Toyota C-HR in this list. The design is eccentric even three years after its debut on the market, and its front-wheel-drive-only architecture should serve as a deterrent. And yet, neither has really dampened consumers interest.

Toyota sold 7,283 units of the crossover in Canada in 2019, while in the U.S., the Japanese automaker recorded 48,930 sales.
