4 — Kia Telluride
Some were skeptical when Kia and Hyundai brought to market the Telluride and Palisade full-size SUVs this past year. In the case of the former model, a short encounter with it is all it takes to understand why it's been winning awards left and right since its launch. The Kia Telluride offers plenty of space, an incredible level of equipment for the price, and a frankly impressive level of comfort, right down to the excellent soundproofing.
Car and Driver goes so far as to say that this vehicle will take Kia the brand to another level in the industry, like the Lexus LS400 and Acura NSX did for their respective creators a little over 30 years ago. It's a bit of a stretch, but it shows just how impressed they were with this product.
While we don’t see the Telluride as being quite that revolutionary, we do see it confirming Kia's solid market position, as well as showing just how much potential the brand has going forward.
