The Telluride mid-size SUV began to rack up the awards pretty much from the moment it began coming out of the factory, and it hasn’t let up since. This is no fluke, obviously. The Telluride delivers as a day-in-day-out people-mover on so many fronts, it’s hard to think of something it does lousily.

What C&D liked:

- High-end interior (equipment includes heated and ventilated second-row seats, Nappa leather, Alcantara headliner, head-up display, etc. etc.)
- Quality of construction
- Refined drive
- An auxiliary cabin heater uses electricity to have the a/c system send hot air into the cabin before the vehicle heats up. Just in time for winter, we say…
- Dynamic drive for such a big vehicle
- Good feedback from steering
- Can actually off-road
- Distinctive, attractive exterior design
