GM's luxury division is also looking to begin its promised electric shift in 2023. It's the first brand in the American empire to benefit from Ultium technology, an EV-only architecture that will be used for future electric models across the various General Motors divisions.

The Lyriq crossover, with its unusual design for Cadillac, is expected make its debut later this year with a range of 300 miles (or 482 km) with the rear-wheel drive version. An AWD version is set to follow near the end of 2022.
