Andros Trophy: Jacques Villeneuve to contest next round in Andorra

Canadian race car driver Jacques Villeneuve really enjoyed his maiden experience in ice racing. A works driver for Skoda, Villeneuve made his debut in the French Andros Trophy last weekend in Val Thorens.

In his first race, the 1997 Formula 1 World Champion finished 12th on Saturday and then 14th on Sunday to finally rank 10th in the final standings of the race meeting.

Villeneuve drives the No. 3 Skoda Fabia “Silhouette” alongside his former F1 BAR teammate, Olivier Panis.

Villeneuve confirmed on Wednesday that he will be competing in the second round of the Andros Trophy, a race held in the tiny Principality of Andorra this weekend.

The circuit of Grandvalira is located at an altitude of 2400m and is 980-metre long.
