Newly crowned Jean-Philippe Dayraut (BMW Série 1) won the final round of the Andros Trophy in Lans-en-Vercors. He finished ahead of Canadian driver Jacques Villeneuve, who secured his first podium finish in the series.

Dayraut concluded his 2010-2011 season in high fashion by clinching his first victory this season. Surprisingly, it was Jacques Villeneuve who finished second.

The Formula 1 champion was 13th only on Friday, but he took the second spot in the overall qualifying heats and went on to win his final heat ahead of Alain Prost. That result put him in second position in overall rankings of the day.
