The grand finale on Andros Trophy 2010-2011 ice racing series was held the past weekend on the 400m ice rink built inside the Stade de France just outside Paris before a crowd of nearly 55,000 spectators!

Former Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve enjoyed a fun and quite successful event, competing in three different categories!

The Super Final at the Stade de France is always a stunning showdown for all competitors and spectators. Competing door-to-door in front of so many spectators produces hardly fought and highly exciting races.

Winner of the Super Final alongside Evens Stievenart, Alain Prost also captured victory in the Challenge Andros.

Runner-up in the final standings this year, Prost, driving his Dacia Duster and Stievenart – in his first race in the Dacia – took overall victory.

Stievenart drove a strong race, managing to keep a flying Jacques Villeneuve behind him despite some intense pressure from the Canadian. Villeneuve

Then, Villeneuve took victory in the Defi Pilot, a unique car vs motorcycle confrontation. Villeneuve defeated in two heats biker Regis Laconi.

Finally, Villeneuve made his first start in one Andros Electric car.

At ease on the ice rink, Villeneuve finished second in the semi final, and then secured third place in the final, finishing behind Christophe Ferrer and Nicolas Prost.
