Justin Allgaier (Dodge No 16) won the ARCA/REMAX 250 at the very fast Talladega Superspeedway Friday afternoon, edging out young sensation Joey Logano (Chevy No 15) in the middle of the last lap of a crash ridden race.

Bobby Gerhardt (Chevy No 5) finished third while series point leaders Scott Speed (Camry No 2) and Ricky Stenhouse (Ford No 99) both suffered exploded tires as well as Rookie but many times motorcycle champ Ricky Carmichael (Chevy No 33) who was running amongst the leader before one of his tires failed.

Allgaier will drive for Penske in the NASCAR Nationwide series next year.

As for Speed, he now leads with 4855 points while Stenhouse has 4800 points with only one race to go.
