Saturday May 26th marked the second event in the Hankook Touring Series. The Sanair Complex was the site of the race that saw many mechanical failures. This lead to a number of people dropping out early on.

Pascal Bastien qualified in 5th place while Nigel Heron positioned himself in 13th. Within the first lap, 3 cars experienced engine and transmission problems while 2 of them were knocked out of the running following a collision.

Pascal pushed Dany "Babu" Bernier for a few laps and finally overtook him about 2/3 of the way through. Nigel was initially helped by the numerous retirements however he worked Manuel Bastien (Pascal's brother) quite hard to gain a position. When the checkered flag was finally waved, Pascal finished in 3rd and Nigel, in 5th.

So far in the overall standings, Pascal Bastien is tied for 1st place with 60 points and Nigel sits in 4th position with 48 points.

The first event took place in St-Eustache, QC on May 5th. Pascal Bastien finished 3rd and Nigel Heron completed the race in 9th position.

The next contest will again be at the Sanair Complex on June 16th.
