Past Canadian touring car champions Andre Rapone and Nick Wittmer have opted to join the new entry-level B-Spec class of the national championship.
2009 and 2010 Super Touring class title holder Nick Wittmer's face was for long associated to Lombardi Honda's bright yellow colours.
He then switched in 2011 to Fastco Motorsports' white scheme and finally decided it was time for a break of his own.
For 2012, the Wittmer family has put together its own Ste Rose Honda Racing team. Nick will be going for a third national title in the No. 91 Honda Fit.
On his end, 2008 Touring class champion, Andre Rapone, and his Durabond Racing team have formed an alliance with long time rivals Team Octane. Rapone will partner PJ Groenke in a two-car MINI effort, also in the B-Spec class.
