Canadian Black Book announces Best Retained Value Awards for 2016

Canadian Black Book today announced the winners of the 2016 Best Retained Value Awards on the eve of the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto. These annual accolades recognize four-year-old (2012) models that retain their percentage of MSRP the best, across 20 categories.

For the ninth year in a row, Toyota came away as the winningest brand for 2016, with six first-place finishes. Overall, Japanese makes won nearly half the awards.

At the same time, the Jeep Wrangler secured a staggering 79% of its original MSRP, up 10% from last year and the highest ever recorded retained value in the history of the CBB awards.

Here are the top three finishers in each of the 20 vehicle categories:
