General Motors yesterday announced a $208 million investment in it's assembly plant in Fairfax, Kansas, and provided a small photo of its new 2008 Malibu which will be built there.
Set to be debuted at the NAIAS early next year, the photograph shows a dual-segment grille and a menacing slope to the cars hood and headlamps. A few weeks ago, GM provided an initial photograph detailing part of a new two-tone, dual-cockpit interior which will bring a sense of premium class to the new Malibu.
"The 2008 Malibu design is expressive and brings new proportions and a fresh perspective to the mid-size market," says Ed Peper, Chevrolet General Manager. "The new Malibu boasts a poised, wheels-at-the-corners stance with a longer hood and shorter deck appearance that conveys motion, agility and attitude."
