Before it goes on sale this summer, the next-generation 2016 Honda Pilot made its global premiere today at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. It also debuted in Canada at the Toronto Auto Show almost simultaneously.
Similar in style to the smaller CR-V, the 2016 Honda Pilot now looks less boxy, but it still offers seating for eight along with a 3.5L V6 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission (a 9-speed unit is optional). While output has yet to be announced, Honda promises more fuel economy than the outgoing model.
The 2016 Honda Pilot is available with 20” wheels, a new panoramic sunroof, heated/cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, and more. With regard to connectivity, you can get up to five USB ports, an HDMI port, Honda Satellite-Linked navigation, and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system with a 9” monitor.
