According to NASCAR Sprint Cup team co-owner Felix Sabates, Chip Ganassi Racing would be willing to help Dario Franchitti return to the IndyCar Series after the IRL champion was informed that the team was sizing down its operations to only two cars.
Furthermore, Sabates said the decision to continue pursuing a stock-car career in the Nationwide Series, or to return to the IndyCar Series, rests with Franchitti himself.
