BMW has announced the coming of a 6 Series Cabriolet, while the 1 Series M Coupé as well as the refreshed 1 Series Coupé and Cabriolet will be making their world debut at the Detroit Auto Show. On top of these three premieres, visitors will have the chance to get up close and personal with the all-new X3 and take an in-depth look at the EfficientDynamics and ConnectedDrive systems.

After a series of photos, videos and news clips on the BMW 1 M, this will be the first public appearance of the highly anticipated two-door coupe. It’s powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, twin-turbo mill generating 335 ponies and 332 ft-lb of torque, and it recently made the news with its blistering lap times at Nürburgring.

Also making its world debut, the 6 Series Cabrio promises optimal comfort and a huge dollop of athleticism with its 400-hp, direct injection, twin-turbo V8 coupled either with an eight-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission.
