The provisional and unofficial calendar of the 2012 season of the DTM do not feature a single race outside Europe.
The ten rounds will be held in Germany, Austria, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Spain. Next year will mark the return of BMW to the series, and one can only assume that the organiser of the DTM, ITR, reconsidered the idea of staging costly races in distant countries such as China and Korea.
The calendar features the traditional opening and closing races held on the Hockenheimring.

May 20 - Spielberg
June 3 - Silverstone
July 1 - Nuremberg
July 15 - non championship event at Olympic Stadium in Munich
August 19 - Nurburgring
August 26 - Zandvoort
September 16 - Oschersleben
September 30 - Valencia
October 21 - Hockenheim
