Swedish Mattias Ekstrom won a race that was dominated by the Audi drivers that took up the first four positions at the finish line today in Zandvoort. It was the second win of the season for the current DTM champion.

Championship leader Timo Scheider finished the race just two tenths of a second behind Ekstrom but in front of Tom Kristensen who took third in another 2008-spec A4. Martin Tomczyk took advantage of a good start to climb from sixth to fourth, where he remained until the finish.

Canadian Bruno Spengler was the best of the Mercedes-Benz drivers, finishing fifth aheadof teammate Jamie Green who had a bad start losing a number of positions right on. Spengler was20 seconds adrift Ekstrom.

Scheider still leads the series with 5 points over second place Ekstrom. Then Jamie Green, Paul di Resta and Bruno Spengler are respectively third, fourth and fifth.
