Former F1 driver David Coulthard revealed that he will take part to the 2010 DTM championship, with a 2008-spec C Class Mercedes from team Mücke Motorsport.
Last week, Coulthard did very promising pre-season tests in Valencia, when he set the second best performance overall in the first day of collective tests on the Spanish circuit. Although rumours insisted that the deal would be complicated due to marketing reasons, Coulthard confirmed on Saturday morning in Malaysia, where he is involved as TV commentator for the BBC, that he set the deal with Mercedes for the 2010 DTM season.
David Coulthard will join another former-F1 driver, Ralf Schumacher, who is about to start his third season with a 2009-spec C Class Mercedes.
The DTM season will start in Hockenheim, in April 25th.
