Martin Tomczyk (Audi) set his second victory in-a-row at Lausitzring, and moves up to first position in provisional classification ahead of Bruno Spengler (Mercedes), who takes 3rd today.

After they were dominated by the Mercedes in qualifying, the Audi took their revenge during the race. The german brand takes a 1-2 at Lausitz, as Timo Scheider secures second position behind Tomczyk. The new championship leader started from 4th place on the grid, and moved up to third at the first corner, before he took second position in the first laps of the race, and put the pressure on race leader Bruno Spengler.
