From Mercedes-Benz press release
Christian Vietoris and Renger van der Zande complete the driver line-up for Mercedes-Benz in the 2011 DTM season. Nine drivers from five different countries will be competing at the wheel of an AMG Mercedes C-Class.
Christian Vietoris, 22-year-old driver from Germany, competed in single seaters for eight seasons. He took Formula BMW title in 2006, before he moved to Formula 3 (he was runner-up in 2009 behind Jules Bianchi).
Renger Van der Zande, 25-year-old, comes from Netherlands. He started in Formula Renault in his country (he was champion in 2005), then moved to Formula 3. Last year, he took part to the British F3 championship (3rd) and selected races in Euroseries, plus the Macao GP (7th).
Both drivers complete the Mercedes line-up for the 2011 DTM season. Gary Paffett, Canadian driver Bruno Spengler, Ralf Schumacher and Jamie Green will be the HWA factory drivers of the German car maker, and will drive 2009-spec C-Class Mercedes.
Susie Stoddart, Christian Vietoris, Maro Engel, David Coulthard and Renger van der Zande will drive 2008-spec C Class.
The first round will be held at the Hockenheimring, in May 1st.
