The team called me in for my second pit stop at the right moment. I they’d waited a few more seconds, I would have been held up behind the Satefy Car and would have lost several positions during my pit stop. So I pitted when I was ahead, and came back in first place.
At the restart, I had to be careful because the track was quite dirty in corner 2 and 3. After a few laps, it was clean again. I stretched the lead and crossed the line in first place.
I am really happy to have won here in Hockenheim, a track I really like. Now we have to focus on the race round to be held in Zandvoort in the Netherlands. By objective is obviously to win again!”
