Compact Power as Battery Pack Supplier for Ford Focus Electric
Dearborn, Mich. - Ford Motor Company today announced it has selected Compact Power, Inc. (CPI), a subsidiary of LG Chem, to build lithium-ion battery packs for the Ford Focus Electric, which will go on sale in the U.S. in 2011.
