Aston Martin have confirmed Heinz-Harald Frentzen will return to racing action this year when he competes with the team in the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The former Formula 1 driver, who has not raced since he retired from the DTM at the end of 2006, will compete in the 007 Aston alongside Italian Andrea Piccini and Austrian Karl Wendlinger.
Frentzen has taken part in the Le Mans classic just once, in 1992. Back then he raced a Lola-Judd 92/10 for the Euro Racing team and finished in 13th position overall along side Japanese racers Matsuda and Kusaya.
