Although very, very few persons have access to the contracts of the Formula 1 drivers, estimates of their annual salaries - complied by Business Book GP2014 and reported on TomorrowNewsF1.com – have been released.
Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso remains top of the list, but he has now been joined by his teammate Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Racing.
All three earn approximately €22 million (about $29.4 million).
Honestly, Valtteri Bottas of Williams and Daniel Ricciardo – winner of two races so far this year - both look a real bargain at €1 million ($1.3 million) and €750,000 ($1 million) respectively.
