Fernando Alonso won the first race of the 2010 Formula 1 Championship Sunday, in Bahrain.
He was followed by his teammate, Felipe Massa, at the finish line. Lewis Hamilton took third, 23 seconds behind the leader.
Sebastian Vettel dominated most of the race until his RedBull-Renault failed him, forcing him to a fourth place finish.
Nico Rosberg beat his prestigious teammate in fifth with a sixth place finish for Schumacher.
Champion Jenson Button finished seventh, far from his teammate and the podium.
Mark Webber, Vitantonio Liuzzi and Rubens Barrichello round-up the top-10 for points.
