Although still under contract to Renault, the Spaniard arrived at his 2010 team's Italian base at 8am in time for a meeting with his new boss Stefano Domenicali.
Fernando Alonso, 28, also met with technicians, saw a wind tunnel model of the 2010 car, worked on his seating position, sampled the Fiorano test track at the wheel of a red 458 Italia, and closed the day with a 30 minute meeting with Luca di Montezemolo.
