In June 2010, Formula 1 will be back on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve of Ile Notre-Dame in Montreal. Meanwhile, in full Canadian winter, Sebastien Buemi and the Red Bull Racing test team ran the Renault-powered Red Bull on a perfectly frozen playground!

Swiss F1 driver Buemi drove the Red Bull on the very slippery Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (complete with snow banks!) and then on the frozen lake of Lac-à-l'Eau-Claire, North of Montreal.

The car was fitted with special Bridgestone tires designed and built by the Bridgestone Motorsport tech centre in Tokyo, Japan. The front tires were fitted with 420 studs while the rears had 588 each!

The Canadian Grand Prix will be held in Montreal June 11, 12 and 13.
