Several frustrated Grand Prix drivers have complained against the wild rumours some members of the medias are launching without really checking the facts.

Fernando Alonso was irritated when reporters asked him about new rumours that he might drive for Ferrari in 2010 or 2011.

"It would be a mistake to talk about those things all day," the Renault driver is quoted as saying by the news agency EFE.

Alonso added: "When I make a decision, about staying at Renault or changing teams, there will be an official statement so that the whole world knows at the same time."

The 27-year-old complained about publications that "always" report unfounded rumours.

"It was said at Monza that I was going to be with BMW for three years, and two or three days later it is being said that I am with Ferrari again," Alonso marvelled.

Meanwhile, Red Bull test and reserve driver Sébastien Buemi has played down reports that he will definitely make his grand prix debut with Toro Rosso in 2009.

Following his test with the Faenza based squad at Jerez last week, team principal Franz Tost told a Swiss newspaper that the teenager will almost certainly replace Sebastian Vettel next year.

Buemi said: "Nothing is done, but I have a good chance."
