British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton of the McLaren-Mercedes squad has extended his domination of the Hungarian Grand Prix by clinching pole position for tomorrow's race. The feat represented Hamilton's 10th pole in career.
Toyota's Timo Glock managed to pull his best starting position in F1 with a 5th place.
German Sebastian Vettel, driving a Ferrari-powered Toro Rosso, has been impressive in qualifying, taking 11th spot.
It was a disappointing day for BMW-Sauber's Nick Heidfeld. In Q1, Nick was slow and set the 15th time. On his second set of new tires, he was stuck in traffic. He will take the start from row 8 tomorrow.
Sébastien Bourdais was later demoted five positions on the grid. The Frenchman qualified his Toro Rosso in 14th position on Saturday, but BMW-Sauber competitor Nick Heidfeld - who subsequently dropped out of the initial 'Q1' segment - complained that he was held up through the final corner.
Both Williams-Toyota were also disappointing. Nico Rosberg was 15th, Kazuki Nakajima was 17th.
