Ferrari has announced that, to commemorate Gilles Villeneuve's death, the legendary Ferrari driver's son Jacques, will take his father's 312 T4 F1 car around the Fiorano test track.

The said anniversary, May 8th, is exactly a month away from now, and will mark the 30th year since the passing away of the Canadian hero.

"We have decided to commemorate this date in a special way," said a statement issued by Ferrari. "Bringing together the names of Ferrari and Villeneuve in their natural environment, the race track."

The Ferrari 312 T4 is the car Villeneuve and his teammate Jody Scheckter drove to the 1979 Constructors' title. That same year, Scheckter took the driver's crown and Villeneuve the runner-up spot – in his best ever season, results wise.
