AS and El Economista newspapers say the buyer is Pau Gasol, a famous Spanish basketball player for the famous NBA team Los Angeles Lakers.
The reports said Gasol, 31, has an opportunity to snap up HRT for EUR 48 million given that investment group Thesan has not yet formalised its deal.
As an existing small shareholder, Pau Gasol - through his rights management company Wasermann Media Group and with links to Chinese company Erdos - reportedly has the right of first refusal until August 22.
