As scheduled, Lotus Renault GP driver Robert Kubica was back in surgery today Wednesday as doctors at Santa Corona Hospital in Italy treated the complex fracture to his elbow.
The press release of the team indicated that the operation lasted eight hours in order to stabilise and reconstruct the damaged fragments of the delicate joint structure.
At the end of the surgery, the doctors were pleased with the outcome, with the procedure being completed successfully
Kubica will remain in intensive care for a few days as he recovers from this latest operation.
