McLaren seem in great form in China, Jenson Button signed the best lap during the first session and Lewis Hamilton is on top of the second session of free practices in China.
Just like in Australia and Malaysia, the same four drivers are on top on Friday, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Jenson Button and Michael Schumacher.
Both Red Bull are following with Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.
Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa are tenth and eleventh, but as usual Ferrari uses the Friday's free sessions to set the car for the race.
Regarding the new teams, Lotus is again in front of Virgin and HRT.
Due to a suspension failure, Sebastien Buemi had a frightening crash during the first session. The Toro Rosso team had not enough time to repair the car and the swiss driver did not participate at the second session.
